Trip Description

These trips consist of targeting Bluefin Tuna utilizing live bait, trolling artificial lures, and kites depending on the fishing conditions and time of year. We target these fish June through December and fish a variety of different areas including South of Martha's Vineyard, East of Chatham, Cape Cod Bay, and points North. We target them using 50-130 LB class size reels and allow anglers to tackle these fish either stand-up or out of the rod holder. The Captain and Crew will give their 100% best effort to help you battle and land the fish of a lifetime!! Per Federal regulations any fish measuring 73" or greater in length are required to be retained by the boat. All fish less than 73" can be retained or released and it is the charter client's choice. Current regulations allow for 1 fish per vessel per day.

Policy

25% deposit will be required to secure your date. Deposits can be collected securely with paypal and venmo. 30 day cancellation notice will need to be provided before your scheduled trip to receive full refund of deposit. Any trip cancellations made by the captain due to inclement weather will be fully refunded or rescheduled. Tuna Taxi will be equipped with plenty of ice to keep your fish, drinks and provisions cold. All tackle will be provided. Tuna Taxi has all the required fishing permits for State and Federal waters so that all of our guests are covered during their time onboard. What to bring: Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, food and drinks, rain gear, non-skid shoes(no black soles), cooler with ice to keep in your vehicle for fish transport(cooler space with ice will be provided onboard during trip) You may bring beer and wine for your trip, but hard alcohol and excessive intoxication will not be tolerated.
